Years ago, Avi brought that spirit to a line of hats celebrating California: its bear, poppies and quail; the parrots of Telegraph Hill; the seals of the Bay; and the oaks of Oakland. Chapp wore them everywhere. Then life moved forward, families grew and the hats faded into memory.
Until a move uncovered more than 1,000 original hats, still wrapped and waiting for their next adventure.
YoFi was reborn—but perhaps that fire had never gone out. Like Yosemite itself, it was simply waiting to be rediscovered.
